Irish Language Film Morning, Pop-Up Gaeltacht and Big Photo.

Our annual Film Morning presents a screening of Tom Collins’ ‘Aithrí/Penance’. Shot in Derry & Donegal and inspired by a short story from Pádraic Ó Conaire, it tells the story of priest Eoin O’ Donnell who recruits impressionable teenager Antaine to fight the British in 1916.

Tickets £6 and £5 for concessions at the box office on the day.

The young musicians from Comhaltas Tara O’Carolan Branch will play in the bar before the film. All are welcome to remain for a Pop-Up Gaeltacht and to be part of our Big Photo to mark a further 10 years of Irish language activity in the city.
